3) Loosen the blade height fixing screw
4) Adjust the height adjustment screw (increase clockwise, 1 scale is about 10μm)
5) Tighten the blade height fixing screw
6) Tighten the 2 blade fixing screws, be careful not to over-tighten the blade fixing screws
b. Adjustment of blade angle:
1) Remove the fiber trash box
2) Loosen the locking screw
3) Rotate the blade to the next number position
4) Tighten the locking screw, taking care not to over-tighten the locking screw
5) Install the fiber collection box

2) Loosen the locking screw and take out the locking screw and gasket
3) Carefully clamp both sides of the blade with tweezers, gently lift and remove the blade
4) Replace with a new blade (please choose 41 special blades)
5) Insert the gasket, tighten the locking screw, be careful not to over-tighten the locking screw

Cleaning & maintenance
Since the Fiber Cleaver is a precision instrument and its use environment is relatively harsh, proper cleaning and maintenance are particularly important. When it is found that the cutting quality of the cleaver is poor or the fiber cannot be cut, reasons could be that dust or fiber trash has fallen into the Cleaver blade, upper and lower platens, guide grooves, etc., so frequent cleaning and maintenance are required. Specific steps are as follows:
1) Use a cotton swab dipped in alcohol, and wipe the upper and lower platens in one direction.
2) Dip a cotton swab with alcohol and rotate the blade in one direction.
3) Use a cotton swab dipped in alcohol to clean and wipe the guide groove.

Common Faults And Solutions
1). The optical fiber is not placed in the correct slot (please select the position suitable for your optical fiber cable among the 3 slots)
2). The position of the blade is too high (please fine-tune the height of the blade)
3). There is garbage left on the optical fiber holding clamp (please clean the clamp with alcohol cotton)
4). There are foreign objects such as dust on the blade (please use alcohol cotton to clean the blade)
5). There are foreign objects such as dust on the optical fiber (please remove the optical fiber coating again, and clean the bare optical fiber with alcohol cotton)
Precautions
1) Pay attention to protect the blade during use and cleaning, and do not touch the blade with hard objects.
2) The blade is sharp, do not touch it with your hands.
3) Handle with care and pay attention to protection.
